Privacy Policy

This Policy describes what data about the EDGE service User is collected, how it is processed and stored, and what rights the User has in relation to their data.

1. Data operator

The operator processing personal data is the owner of the EDGE service. Contact email for personal-data requests: [email protected].

2. What data is collected

2.1. Data provided by the User during registration and use:

• email address;
• password (only an irreversible cryptographic hash is stored in the database; the original password is not available even to the Administration);
• on Google sign-in — email and Google account unique identifier (sub) transmitted by Google after User confirmation.

2.2. Technical data collected automatically:

• IP address of requests to the server;
• HTTP request metadata (User-Agent, date and time);
• counter of executed AI analyses and text prompts sent to OpenAI (logged for error troubleshooting).

2.3. The service does not collect:

• payment data (card numbers, account details) — until a payment module is connected, of which the User will be notified separately;
• biometric data;
• data of minors (the service is not intended for persons under 18).

3. Purposes of processing

Collected data is used for:

• identification of the User and providing access to their account;
• compliance with tariff limits (request quotas);
• improving service quality and troubleshooting;
• protecting the service against abuse and automated attacks;
• correspondence with the User on inquiries initiated by them.

4. Data transfer to third parties

4.1. The texts of requests sent by the User to the AI-analysis module are transmitted to OpenAI (USA) to generate a response. OpenAI processes this data in accordance with its public policy. The User's personal data (email, ID) is not transmitted to OpenAI — only the request text.

4.2. Other transfers of personal data to third parties are performed exclusively:

• with the User's consent;
• at the request of authorized state bodies in the manner established by law;
• to technical contractors (hosting, payment providers) to the extent necessary to provide services, under confidentiality terms.

5. Terms and method of storage

5.1. Personal data is stored on secure servers on the territory of the Russian Federation, in a form protected from external access.

5.2. Account data is stored until the User deletes the account.

5.3. Technical logs are stored for no more than 90 days from the time of writing, after which they are automatically deleted or anonymized.

6. User's rights

6.1. The User has the right to:

• obtain a copy of their personal data processed by the service;
• request clarification, blocking, or destruction of inaccurate or unlawfully processed data;
• withdraw consent to the processing of personal data and delete the account.

6.2. All requests should be sent to [email protected] with the subject «Personal data».

7. Cookies and local storage

7.1. The service uses the browser's localStorage to store the authentication token and user settings. Data is not transmitted to third parties and is stored only in the User's browser.

7.2. The service does not set cookies that identify the User between sessions.

8. Policy changes

8.1. This Policy may be amended. The current revision is published on this page. On material changes, registered Users will be additionally notified.
